Harvey Smith Sr - Founder/CEO
Harvey Smith, Sr, VP Finance/Diversity Chair will be the primary consultant for this project. Mr. Smith has been involved in Affirmative Action, Diversity and Sensitivity programs since the 1970s. He has worked for such community organizations as: Lemington Home for the Aged/Lemington Center; Opportunities Industrialization Center, United Black Front, Homewood Brushton Revitalization Center, the Greater Pittsburgh Business Development Corporation, and the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland County. The organizations received funds from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Labor as well as from various state and local agencies. Mr. Smith has worked as a college professor for the following colleges: The Pennsylvania State University; Seton Hill University; and is currently employed by Grand Canyon University. During his years as a college professor he has taught various undergraduate and graduate courses in business. Mr. Smith has been involved in researching various business topics including such topics as Business Governance, Business Ethics, and economic gaps that exists when comparing economic achievements of minorities in the United States. He has over 47 years of diversified business experience including having worked for major corporations like PPG Industries and Price Waterhouse Cooper., Mr. Smith is a co-founder of Innovative Business Products & Services, LLC (IBPS) a company that provides leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, sensitivity and unconscious bias training services including training for all diverse groups such as by race, gender, age, disability, and sexual preference. Some of the services are currently provided to Pittsburgh International Airport. Mr. Smith has been involved in working to set-up the following organizations in the filing of state and federal applications of operations including articles of incorporation, by-laws, job descriptions and more: Greater Pittsburgh Business Development Corporation; Monroeville Area Activity Center; IBPS; and Shamar National Prayer Warriors.
